School is outside:) In this special day we played Cabbage Toss at our football pitch. This time, we played this game with 6th grades and revised "Saving the Planet" theme.

Our "Cabbage Toss" Activities. 

In this activity, we revised "Public buildings" theme with 7th grades and "Chores" theme with 8th grades.

It was very useful activity to revise our themes. Also, It was a good chance for us to have an enjoyable time with students. Thank you Agnieszka :)

  Storm Activity

We made the activity we determined as ITO Sehit Muhterem Ak Secondary School for our project as third activity.It is an amusing and educative activity for our students. In 6th grades, with this activity, we revised “Occupations” theme. Also, in 8th grades, we revised “Tourism” theme. 

We made this activity twice in 6th grades and we made it twice in 8th grades. First ones are trial for our students. 

Especially, when they found the storm, it’s worth seeing their excitement and cheer. I hope every member of the project like it and agree with us 😊

Betul Inanır- ITO Sehit Muhterem Ak Secondary School, Konya/ Turkey

We made "Running Dictation" activity which is the second activity of our project. We used this activity for revision. We made it twice, one of them is for 8th grades and another one is for 7th grades. In 8th grades,via "Running Dictation" activity, we revised the unit "Adventures" in which we learned about extreme sports and comparing things and also expressing preferences. In 7th grades, via "Running Dictation" activity, we revised the unit "Celebrations" in which we learned about some special days and festivals, quantifiers, making suggestions and accepting or refusing them. We enjoyed a lot. Also, it was very useful activity for us.

We did brainstorming on "Enjoyable English Time" and added our related words to the page we created for our project on AnswerGarden.

We made the activity Karen Farrugia had determined for our project. We adapted Karen's tecnique to the topic of "should/shouldn't". We determined our sentences by searching some answers these questions: What should we do or what shouldn't we do to save natural habitats of wild animals and save our environment? During the activity, one side said the sentences by using imperative forms of them and other side said the same sentences by using should or shouldn't. It was very useful activity. Also, It was a good chance for us to revise our "wild animal" theme. Thank you Karen :)
